Hospitality
EXPERIENCED CHEF - Full Time
We are looking for a qualified chef with proven experience working in a fast-paced commercial kitchen to join our expanding team!
In this role, you will:
• prepare and cook high-quality breakfast and lunch dishes in accordance with our menu specifications
• maintain the highest food safety and hygiene standards at all times
• collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain an efficient workflow and timely service
• work to a 4-week rotating roster with one weekend off per month.
The ideal candidate will:
• possess a broad range of skills and excellent attention to detail
• be passionate about cooking with fresh, local produce
• work well under pressure and with a sense of urgency
• demonstrate excellent initiative and the ability to multi-task
• have experience in a similar cafe environment.

EXPERIENCED PASTRY CHEF - Full Time
We are looking for an experienced pastry chef to join our busy kitchen team. You’ll prepare and perfect Rivers staples including our popular scones, quiches, and beloved passionfruit sponge!
In this role, you will:
• prepare café-style cakes, pastries and more
• maintain the highest standards of food preparation, presentation, and quality
• work efficiently and collaboratively with our kitchen team to support the overall food offering at the Café and The Barrow
The ideal candidate should:
• be able to work under pressure in a busy, fast-paced kitchen
• be passionate about fresh produce and quality food presentation
• possess strong organisational skills and be a team player
Days and hours are negotiable for the right person, with flexibility for a casual or permanent position.

EXPERIENCED BARISTA - Casual, weekday + weekend shifts
We’re looking for an experienced barista and hospo all-rounder to join our team. This exciting role calls for applicants with a friendly, customer-focused approach. And of course, a passion for coffee is a must!
The ideal candidate will:
· have recent experience behind the machine
· be comfortable working under pressure in a fast-paced environment
· possess a sound knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and equipment including how to adjust the grind
· expertly and efficiently craft a range of hot and cold beverages to customer specifications
· provide a warm and welcoming customer experience, accurately taking orders, and ensuring the highest standard of service
· maintain the highest food safety and hygiene standards, and a clean and organised workspace
· work 2 – 3 shifts per week (each shift approx. 6 – 9 hours) with a minimum of one weekend shift and one weekday shift.

Garden
GARDEN CENTRE SENIOR SALES PERSON - Full Time or 4 days per week
We're seeking a qualified horticulturist to join our sales team in the Garden Centre. This is a senior position suitable for someone with broad retail garden centre experience and extensive plant knowledge.
The successful applicant will have a passion for indoor and outdoor plants, excellent organisational skills, and demonstrate a love of outdoor work.
Responsibilities include customer service, merchandising, and daily operations including incoming stock and plant maintenance. Opportunities exist for suitable candidate in selected plant buying and responsibility for a section of the Garden Centre.
Role requires a full driver's licence, and fork-lift licence is an advantage. Days and hours are negotiable but will include regular weekend shifts. Position is available for an immediate start.
