Make Mum's day truly special with a visit to Rivers of Yarrambat. Join us for a relaxing Mother's Day brunch, or treat Mum to a elegant High Tea experience. After dining, take a leisurely stroll through our picturesque grounds, browse our garden centre and gift shop - and don't forget to pay a visit to the Rivers ducks. They do love meeting mums!
Join us in the Cafe for a delicious Mother’s Day Brunch. Our extensive all day menu means Mum can indulge in brunch favourites like Smashed Avo and Rivers ‘Signature’ Berry Crepes, or choose from lunch options including house baked quiche, fresh salads, and gourmet toasties.

*Please note that by the time Mother’s Day is here, some of our dishes will have changed with the season, but you will get a pretty good idea of the style of food and what’s on offer if you haven’t visited before.
Mother’s Day Brunch sittings will be taking place in the main indoor Café and limited tables in The Parlour which is a semi-outdoor area. Bookings are essential.
Booking Deposit
A deposit is required to secure your table. The deposit amount varies depending on the size of the table you are booking and is deducted from your bill on the day, leaving the balance to pay.
Sitting Times
Our standard 1.5 hour sitting times apply to ensure a smooth operation for you and your family. Please note if you are running late, then this will reduce the time you have on your table.
Other Info
A reminder that outdoor seating on The Terrace is not part of the Cafe and cannot be booked. It is an informal dining area for customers who have purchased takeaway food and beverages from The Barrow.

Treat Mum to the finer things in life - a deliciously elegant High Tea experience at Rivers! You and your guests will indulge in a delectable selection of sweet and savoury finger foods served on three tiered stands with a pot of Yarra Valley tea or a cup of Arthurs Creek barista made coffee. Bubbles, wines and other non-alcoholic beverages are available for purchase on the day.
A Rivers institution, our Mother’s Day High Tea is so popular each year that we’ve extended seating to include tables in both the Café and our event space, The Gallery. Please note: seating is dependent on your guest numbers and availability at the time of booking – but be assured our High Tea is a lovely experience no matter where you’re seated!

• Adult High Tea: $65 per person.
• Children's High Tea: $45 per person (12 years and under)

Special Dietary Requests
Our High Tea Menu can cater for vegetarian, pescatarian, gluten-free and pregnant-friendly diets. Please note, however, that a combination of these is not available. Please include all dietary requirements when making your booking.
